**Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Government Application Review and Validation Specialist**

As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for performing essential duties and responsibilities, including entering data into an automated system, validating information from applications and related source documents, and referring cases with discrepancies to another unit for review. If you possess excellent administrative skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities:** * Enters data into an automated system using formatting input screens and validates information from applications and related source documents in accordance with specified guidelines. * Modifies, updates, and corrects data contained in automated systems. * Refers cases with discrepancies that indicate possible fraud to another unit for review. * Applies training, experience, and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed in searching for, interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered. * Follows procedures in completing several repetitive clerical steps performed in a prescribed or slightly varied sequence. * Creates physical case folders appropriately labeled and indexed as needed. * Deconstructs case files and scans into appropriate systems. * Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested. **Requirements:** * One (1) to two (2) years of relevant administrative experience preferred. * Ability to pass a typing test of at least 40 WPM with no errors. * Experience in an office/clerical environment is desired. * Intermediate computer skills utilizing multiple monitors and active sessions. * Basic use of MS Office including Excel, Word, and Email. * Good Interpersonal and Professional Communication Skills. * Good attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment. * Capable of working in a multi-task environment with rapidly changing priorities. * Very good command of the English Language; Spanish is a plus. * Demonstrate a professional work ethic. * Ability to pass a thorough criminal background check and credit history to obtain and maintain a secret government clearance. **Essential Skills and Competencies:** * Strong administrative skills, including data entry, record-keeping, and document management. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. * Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures. * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
