Your tasks will include: * Entering data using a standard keyboard with high accuracy and speed (minimum 45 words per minute with no errors) * Verifying data from scanned documents into one of two processing systems, checking for accuracy and making corrections as required * Working independently with accuracy, completing assigned tasks within strict deadlines, and demonstrating excellent comparison skills * Sitting for extended periods of time, reviewing and keying on-screen data * Working in a fast-paced production environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **Special Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess exceptional typing skills, with the ability to alpha-numeric key a minimum of 45 words per minute with no errors. Current state employees pay will be based on the provisions in the Compensation Plan. A twelve-month probationary period is required. **Criminal Background Check** The Department of Revenue will conduct criminal background, tax compliance checks, and fingerprint checks on candidates prior to offer of hire.
