Job Overview The Data Entry Assistant will be responsible for gathering, scanning, and capturing data from various sources, including invoices, statements, reports, and personal documents. You will utilize your excellent organizational skills to correct errors, optimize data capture, and create accurate spreadsheets. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to effectively liaise with employees, customers, and other departments to collect and verify information. Key Responsibilities: Gathering invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients Scanning through information to identify pertinent data and correcting errors Organizing information to optimize swift and accurate capturing Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering and updating information into relevant databases Ensuring data is backed up and informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval Handling additional duties from time to time, as required Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent At least 1+ years of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service Good command of English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new software and systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and other stakeholders Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed Proficient touch-typing skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail While we are open to considering candidates with a range of skills and experience, the following preferred qualifications would be an asset: Experience with database management systems and data analysis tools Knowledge of data quality control principles and practices Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Skills and Competencies: To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and quality Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve errors and discrepancies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and other stakeholders Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and motivation Career Growth and Development Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
