About the Position The primary function of the Data Entry and Title Research Specialist is to accurately translate title-related information into various client or company templates and databases, delivering the finished product to the client while maintaining the highest standards of quality and attention to detail. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Working independently with dual monitor computers, you will spend most of your time accurately extracting pertinent information from legal documents in title search abstracts, using your knowledge of titles to identify any incomplete information that may need further review. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including: Accurately delivering the final product to our clients, ensuring timely and high-quality service. Acting as a liaison between remote researchers and our internal departments to facilitate the completion of title searches and information exchange. Communicating directly with clients via email and through their online websites to ensure seamless communication and satisfaction. Utilizing Microsoft Excel to update resources, correctly identify customer processes and procedures, and manage multiple computer programs simultaneously to complete job tasks efficiently. Assisting with different types of support tasks as needed, demonstrating your versatility and commitment to team success. Requirements for Success To excel in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical skills, analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills. The key requirements include: Education/Experience: An associate's degree or equivalent higher education and/or previous experience in data entry is highly desirable. All new hires will undergo 2-4 weeks of comprehensive on-site training, regardless of previous experience, to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. Technical Skills: A minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute with a 0% error rate is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with QuickBooks is preferred but not required. Analytical and Communication Skills: You must have strong analytical skills, be resourceful, and possess deductive reasoning and attention to detail. Excellent written, telephone, email, and verbal communication skills are crucial for success in this role, along with the ability to listen, follow instructions, and work well with others. Computer Navigation Skills: Excellent computer navigation skills are necessary, including the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and learn new systems quickly.
