Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Entry and Pharmacy Support Specialist to join our team in a remote work capacity. As a Data Entry and Pharmacy Support Specialist, you will be responsible for helping the prescriber assessment process, reviewing and organizing Prescriber Evaluation Referral Forms (PERF), gathering inner and outside prescribing data, and coordinating prescriber and affected person mailings within unique time frames. You will also be creating and allowing the release of COMPASS and RHM communications, generating ad hoc reviews for the prescriber assessment crew, and assisting in displays to the Integrity and Patient Safety teams. Key Responsibilities Research and analyze managed substance orders placed manually at the shop stage to determine if the orders are suspicious based on ordering patterns and circumstances Generate reports and provide data to DEA dealers on shops dispensing patterns, and prescriber or patient profiles within a 48-hour window Build ad hoc queries to pull data outside of regular reporting requirements Maintain up-to-date knowledge about issues such as managed substance ordering approaches, GFD policies, and DEA licensing requirements Assist shops and field supervision with questions via email and contact on various associated topics Assist analysts in growing and reviewing shop audits for managed substance losses Collaborate with Pharmacy Managers and Supervisors to ensure that losses are reported within the required time frame and with 100% accuracy Manage prescriber price ticket decision system, validate and update prescriber data, and collaborate with Pharmacists to ensure that any prescription blocking is legitimate Research and analyze requests for increases to managed substance allocations, making informed decisions based on collaboration with Pharmacy Managers, Supervisors, and item vendors Mitigate risk to the organization by ensuring that due diligence is completed and documented Assist in the implementation and updating of the Good Faith Dispensing and Target Drug Good Faith Dispensing policies Utilize skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to query databases to help analysts in the introduction of presentations and education for shop workforce and supervision Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma/GED and at least three years of experience as a pharmacy technician. You will also need to have a required certification in Certified Pharmacy Technician as granted by PTCB. Additionally, you will need to have experience with prescriber licensing requirements (NPI, DEA, and state licenses), intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), experience with querying databases, and experience with reading and reporting data to identify problems, trends, or exceptions to drive the development of outcomes and locate solutions.
