Job Overview We're seeking an experienced Data Entry and Operations Management Professional to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing oversight and direction to our catering vendor at a designated location to ensure a safe, healthy, and efficient operation. Through leadership and collaboration, you will work to achieve operational performance targets and drive improvements to internal and external customer metrics. This is an airport-based role, and the successful candidate will become a central part of our cross-functional operations team and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Inflight Services, Airport Operations, Menu Planning, and Sanitation. Key Responsibilities Provide oversight and direction to the catering vendor to ensure a safe, healthy, and efficient operation Analyze operational performance and customer satisfaction data to identify trends, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive improvements to internal and external customer metrics Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs Participate in investigating and resolving operational issues to achieve operational objectives Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with arenaflex's Catering Operations Business Manual, Safety Guidelines, and other regulatory requirements Support investigations concerning safety incidents, including corrective action planning Collaborate with arenaflex's Food Safety and operational safety teams Provide direct oversight of the daily operation and lead audits to ensure integrity of catering partner inventory management process and reporting Conduct spot checks to assess inventory levels of kitchen equipment, food, and beverages Provide insights over key cost drivers or unusual cost drivers (e.g., equipment shortage, excessive oversight) as needed Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant work experience 2 years of experience in a professional, operations, consulting, or engineering role Project management experience Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships and engage with leaders and frontline employees from diverse cultures and working divisions Effective business writing and speaking skills and confidence engaging with all levels of management Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills Self-starter with the ability to both execute independently and effectively collaborate in a team environment Ability to work during non-standard hours and peak periods when required to support a global 24/7/365 operation, and to work in controlled and uncontrolled operational environments Able to work full-time at an airport-based location Willing to be available and/or work beyond regular business hours to support the operation 2 years of experience in a salaried (non-hourly) Investigator, Operations, Consulting, or Engineering role Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications Strong, reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of the position; remote and/or hybrid work options are not applicable to this role Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications will be considered an asset: Bachelor's or postgraduate degree 2 years of Industrial Engineering work experience 2 years of airline catering, airport operations, manufacturing, or other operations salaried (non-hourly) experience HACCP, PCQI, or comparable food safety certifications Fluency in more than one language Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits The compensation for this position is $60,000 to $85,000, depending on work-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills.
