Key Responsibilities Leadership: Manage a team of Data Center Technicians, including performance management, rotation management, and coaching. Operational Efficiency: Ensure effective and efficient management of day-to-day data center operations, including workflows and throughput. Innovation: Drive automation and innovation within data center operations, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends. Customer Experience: Continuously strive to improve customer experience, ensuring the highest level of quality and service. Event Management: Manage large-scale events in the data center, including coordination with contractors, project teams, and construction teams. On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation for data center issue escalations, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime. Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance related to infrastructure cabling and other data center requirements. Security and Compliance: Ensure data center compliance with all relevant security policies and procedures. Essential Qualifications Leadership Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a team lead or project lead role. Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of server hardware maintenance and troubleshooting across multiple server vendors. Change and Incident Management: In-depth knowledge and experience of change and incident management. Data Analysis: Solid data mining and analysis skills. Security and Customer Data Protection: High literacy in security and customer data protection. Communication Skills: Solid communication skill set, including decision-making, confrontation management, commitment, and coaching. Preferred Qualifications Power, Cooling, and Facilities Engineering: Knowledge and/or experience of power, cooling, and facilities engineering inside a data center. Logistics: Knowledge and/or experience of logistics. Physical IT Security: Knowledge and/or experience of physical IT security. Capacity Planning: Experience with capacity planning, preferably at a server and data center level. Networking: Experience with major networking manufacturer equipment in an enterprise environment. Certifications: Data center-related certifications, such as CDCP/S/E, CDCMP/TP, and Linux certifications, such as RHCSA/RHCE, LPIC, Linux+. Project Management: Project management skills.
