As a Data Center Inventory and Asset Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our cloud services, including data center operations, inventory management, and asset maintenance. Job Overview In this exciting role, you will be responsible for performing cycle reviews, executing approaching and active deliveries, coordinating security escorts for third-party vendors, and reporting inbound and outbound shipments as directed by management. You will also initiate warranty claims and process returns on failed hardware, ensuring that all inventory controls are met. Key Responsibilities Perform cycle reviews and execute approaching and active deliveries as trained by management Coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors and report inbound and outbound shipments Initiate warranty claims and process returns on failed hardware Develop working knowledge of inventory management principles and warranty process management Perform data bearing device destruction in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Ensure accurate documentation of inbound and outbound shipments and maintain detailed records Apply relevant customs documentation and standards for outbound packages Collaborate with the team to achieve operational excellence and deliver exceptional results Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field. A high school diploma and at least six months of experience or an internship in a related field are required. Alternatively, equivalent experience will be considered.
