As a member of our Transportation Analytics team, you'll be part of a dynamic crew that's dedicated to leveraging data and technology to drive business success. **Job Responsibilities** As an Experienced Data Analyst on our Transportation Analytics team, you'll be responsible for: * Working with large, messy, disparate datasets and performing ad-hoc analyses to inform critical business decisions * Creating ETLs or scripts that pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table * Developing data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges * Engaging with team members and cross-functional groups on a regular basis to establish credibility and share insights * Analyzing stakeholder needs and partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems * Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks, such as metrics prioritization and outlier recognition * Documenting your approaches and sharing your expertise with colleagues, as well as mentoring junior team members to become Subject Matter Experts **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manage data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience) * Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau dashboards (1-2 years of experience) * Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to recognize and root-cause business problems, ideally with a Supply Chain background and transportation experience * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, advanced experience with SQL and Tableau, as well as experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations, would be a significant asset.
