Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst II to join our arenaflex Data Ventures team. As a Data Analyst II, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and developing data-driven insights to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product managers, and data engineers, to design and implement data solutions that drive business growth and improvement. Key Responsibilities Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data processes to support business intelligence and analytics Design and implement data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and trends to business stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that drive business growth and improvement Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Math, Arts, or a related field At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze complex data sets Experience with languages used to manipulate and analyze large data sets, such as SQL, Python, Presto, and others Strong data visualization skills, with experience using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and others Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Math, or a related field Experience in the retail or finance industries, with a strong understanding of business operations and data analysis Experience with data quality tools, such as Google DataPlex, Collibra Data Quality, or SAS Data Management Experience with quality testing using Selenium, Cucumber, or Tosca Experience building multi-step ETL jobs and data pipelines, with a strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Google Bigquery or Hive Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze complex data sets Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Strong data visualization skills, with experience using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and others Experience with languages used to manipulate and analyze large data sets, such as SQL, Python, Presto, and others Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing, with experience building and maintaining databases and data systems Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence Career Growth Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
