Experienced Data Analyst for Transportation Analytics Team - SQL, Tableau, and Business Operations Expertise

Key Responsibilities Work with large, messy, disparate datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses and inform critical business decisions Develop ETLs or processes that pull data from multiple locations and centralize it in a single table Create data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges Engage with team members and cross-functional teams on a periodic basis to establish credibility and share relevant information Analyze stakeholder needs and partner with them to provide actionable insights, including partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product teams on data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks related to reporting, including screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier detection Document processes and share expertise with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience) Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau dashboards (1-2 years of experience) Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to understand and root cause business problems, and a Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations Experience with Python or other scripting languages Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc. Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
