Job Responsibilities and Expectations In this exciting role, you will work closely with operations and finance teams to provide actionable insights and support informed decision-making. Your key responsibilities will include: Working with large, complex datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses and inform critical business decisions Developing ETLs (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to centralize data from multiple sources Creating impactful Tableau dashboards to visualize and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges Engaging with stakeholders, including operations, finance, and product teams, to understand their needs and provide relevant data insights Leveraging scripting languages, such as Python, to automate reporting tasks and improve efficiency Documenting processes and sharing expertise with colleagues to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience) Creativity and a user experience foundation to develop impactful Tableau dashboards (1-2 years of experience) Business operations fluency, with the ability to understand and root cause business problems, preferably with a supply chain background and transportation experience Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders Preferred Qualifications and Experience While not required, the following qualifications and experience are preferred: Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations Experience with Python or other scripting languages Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc. Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
