Key Responsibilities Work with large, complex datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses and inform critical business decisions Develop ETLs (Extract, Transform, Load) and processes to pull data from multiple sources, centralizing it in a single table Create data visualizations using Tableau to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges Engage with team members and cross-functional groups to establish credibility and analyze stakeholder needs Partner with Operations, Finance, and Product teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks, including metrics prioritization and outlier detection Document processes and share expertise with colleagues, mentoring peers as you become a Subject Matter Expert Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience) Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau Dashboards (1-2 years of experience) Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to identify and root cause business problems, and a Supply Chain background (ideally with transportation experience) Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations Experience with Python or other scripting languages Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, business, and soft skills, including: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Business acumen, with a deep understanding of supply chain and transportation operations Technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and scripting languages (such as Python) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
