Why You'll Love This Role This position is part of the Compliance Group within the People/HR Division at blithequark, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining legal and regulatory compliance by researching and communicating requirements. As a Data Analyst, you'll be the backbone of our compliance efforts, ensuring that our operations are aligned with the latest regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities: Support the HR Compliance team and Operations with tasks including obtaining fingerprint/criminal investigation results and processing unique mark freedom letters; maintaining associations with TSA, Airport Authority Boards, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal Services; faxing/checking US Customs results; and database entry. Process daily FBI fingerprints into the Access database and investigate any data set issues, ensuring seamless operations. Design and analyze HR Compliance data between various documents, working closely with HRIS and EC systems to identify trends and discrepancies. Conduct advanced investigations, custom reporting/dashboards, and standardize all data used for HR Compliance, providing actionable insights. Collaborate with clients and the team regularly to ensure that compliance requirements are met and that our operations are running smoothly. Review completed Unique Mark Applications and check for accuracy, retransmitting fingerprints to the TSA Clearinghouse as necessary. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To excel in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree and a strong foundation in data analysis and compliance. Previous experience in a related field is highly valued, as is knowledge of Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and familiarity with the TSA Clearinghouse database. Key Skills and Competencies: Advanced Excel skills, including formatting, creating complex formulas, and Vlookup. Proficiency in Access and the ability to interpret large sets of data to develop meaningful reports. Excellent decision-making skills and strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct fair and consistent application of company policies and government requirements. Ability to instruct specialty units on government requirements, internal and external processes, and results. Team player with the ability to function well in a collaborative environment.
