About the Role As a Data Analyst for Air Transport Liability, you will play a critical role in evaluating the financial impact of $9B Air Transport Liability (ATL), including credits and other passenger charges. You will collaborate with sales teams to analyze new fare product proposals and changes to existing fare products, interpret passenger tickets and tax rules, and present findings through data analysis and modeling. Develop data-driven monitoring/prediction models and processes for damage detection. Understand the lifecycle of a passenger card from purchase to revenue posting to expiration/damage, including evaluation of passenger usage through cancellation, refund, exchange, or destruction. Collaborate on management reporting/dashboard development for ATL, e-credits, and UTR, and work closely with FP&A and Financial Reporting. Present analyses and findings to management, and be responsible for transfers, compliance, and control of more than 200 tax cards. Lead and develop a team to achieve business objectives. Main Responsibilities Perform in-depth analysis of accounting/financial and ticket sales information about air traffic liability, credit, and damage analysis. Work with business unit teams to understand new product proposals and changes to existing products, and implement appropriate policies, including ticket terms and conditions. Develop data models and dashboards for external and internal reporting, and support the department's compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. What You Need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications 4 years of relevant experience required. Working knowledge of data tools such as Hyperion, SAS, Tableau, Toad, etc. Proven track record of performing complex data analysis with large datasets and complex processes. Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create concise and relevant documents and presentations for senior management. Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task, and work independently. Demonstrates curiosity and creative thinking to find solutions. Handles different people, mindsets, and styles. High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalent required. At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications A Bachelor's or Master's degree with a focus in a quantitative discipline such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Engineering; MBA/MA/MS preferred. Experience in the airline industry in one of the commercial or financial functions such as reservations, airport customer service, e-commerce, revenue management, sales, or revenue/pipeline accounting preferred. Experience in product delivery and policy impact analysis. 4 years of deep experience in analytics applications like Hyperion, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, etc., and revenue pipeline/BARTS.
