As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end lifecycle of data management on various platforms, volumes, variety, and speed of data. Key Responsibilities Drive complex self-service data integration projects that unite data from disparate sources to make it accessible to business users, such as data scientists, analysts, and insights users. Lead informal teams to apply advanced data integration philosophies and tools to large datasets to create solutions that can be used in descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analysis. Drive communication with business leaders across multiple and simultaneous projects to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing. Drive the definition and communication of solutions and decisions to stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned. Serve as an informed authority for data assets and monitor the ongoing effectiveness of data assets being used by business users in self-service environments. Support the ongoing development of the arenaflex data science center and community, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Perform other work duties as directed by supervisors, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Intermediate knowledge of both inductive and deductive reasoning and problem-solving approaches, with the ability to apply critical thinking skills to complex business problems. Transitional knowledge in assessing and applying suitable data analysis and statistical method(s) for a business issue, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision making. Transitional knowledge of acquiring and consuming data in both social and non-SQL databases, with experience working with large datasets and complex data systems. Partial knowledge in integrating, storing, and processing large amounts of data necessary for analysis and modeling, with a strong foundation in data management principles. Proficiency in at least one data programming language and open-source tools, such as Python, R, or SQL, with experience working with data visualization tools and technologies. Proficiency in at least one data integration and business intelligence tool, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Informatica, with experience working with data warehousing and ETL processes. Skilled in critical thinking and project management abilities, with experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing, with strong presentation and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to adapt well to different situations and change approaches/philosophy if necessary to actually and effectively meet goals, demonstrating flexibility and a growth mindset. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a strong foundation in data science and analytics. Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure, with a strong understanding of data security and compliance principles. Experience working with machine learning algorithms and models, with a strong foundation in predictive analytics and data modeling. Experience working with agile methodologies and version control systems, such as Git or SVN, with a strong understanding of collaborative development principles.
