Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Analyst and Examination Lead to join our team at arenaflex. As a critical member of our paid media investigation capability, you will play a key role in surfacing data-driven key opportunities for our Chief Authority group, with a focus on optimizing our paid media spend globally. Your expertise in data analysis, business intelligence, and information science will be instrumental in driving business growth, improving marketing efficiencies, and informing strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Support the development of our paid media investigation capability to surface data-driven key opportunities for the Chief Authority group Work closely with marketing teams to identify ways to improve the efficiencies of our paid media spend and develop reporting and analyses to frame and drive decisions Develop and maintain KPIs and scorecards to track drive progress/performance and drive an emphasis on results and execution Play a lead role in supporting key navigation by creating and communicating tailored reporting and analyses that will inform our paid media strategy Convey reporting and insights in the space of paid media, including planning and constructing/leading the development of analysis, BI, and information science expectations Collaborate with paid media information science groups and marketing teams on implementing media mix models Direct ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by intelligent interpretation of results and the design and communication of recommendations that drive action Serve as a partner with marketing, finance, and product teams to tackle business challenges, and track marketing and product performance with a data-driven approach Leverage Structured Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports Analyze data to identify business issues and lead deep dives to perform root cause analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage data (internal data from arenaflex, as well as external data from market research and marketing organizations) and address complex business challenges by delivering meaningful insights Conceptualize and run analysis that generates insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve our value proposition Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Experience in the space of Business Intelligence, Analysis, or Consulting in an e-commerce environment or related field Advanced SQL experience Advanced experience with at least one industry analysis and metrics perception tools (e.g., Tableau/QuickSight/PowerBI) Proficiency in Excel with a proven track record Degree in data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or other related field Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: A passion for working in a team of highly engaged individuals An enthusiasm for numbers, data, and statistics, as well as for delivering high-quality analysis A strong inclination for action, being highly organized, and having the ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal direction and tight deadlines Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with both business leadership and technical teams effectively Experience with subscription-based or media content organizations Experience with and/or interest in learning more about cutting-edge data science approaches Programming languages: knowledge of Python Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming languages like R or SAS Knowledge of Adobe Analytics Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth, development, and continuous learning.
