Role Overview In this role, you will work closely with operations and finance teams to provide them with the insights they need to drive business success. Your primary responsibilities will include working with large, messy, and disparate datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses, developing data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges, and engaging with cross-functional teams to establish credibility and share relevant information. Key Responsibilities Work with large, messy, disparate datasets and conduct ad-hoc analyses to inform critical business decisions, creating ETLs or processes that pull data from multiple locations and centralize it in a single table. Develop data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges, leveraging your creativity and User Experience basis to create impactful Tableau Dashboards. Engage with team members and cross-functional groups on a periodic basis, establishing credibility and analyzing stakeholder needs to share relevant information, including partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product teams on data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems. Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks related to reporting, such as screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition. Document your processes and share your expertise with your peers, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert. Essential Qualifications Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience). Creativity with a User Experience basis to increase impactful Tableau Dashboards (1-2 years of experience). Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to understand and root cause an enterprise problem, and a Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally. Preferred Qualifications Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau. Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations. Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
