Your Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership, support, and guidance to support agents across multiple locations within Asia, ensuring operational efficiency, quality, and the achievement of both departmental KPIs and company objectives. Contribute to the development and implementation of regional strategies that align with blithequark's global vision and mission. Represent the Support function on the regional leadership team, maintaining regular communication with senior management and providing updates on regional performance and progress. Act as the regional ambassador within the larger Global Support team, providing ownership and updates on Asia-specific initiatives and achievements. Support your team in their day-to-day work, addressing challenges, and fostering a collaborative and solution-oriented environment. Lead the hiring and interviewing process for new team members, ensuring that the team grows with talented and motivated individuals who share blithequark's values and mission. Help team members improve their productivity and efficiency, providing coaching and feedback that promotes growth and development. Cultivate a great culture within the team, emphasizing openness, empathy, and mutual respect, and ensuring that every team member feels valued and supported. Assist with the training and onboarding of new team members, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the team. Support team members in their skills and career development, providing opportunities for learning and advancement within blithequark. Hold regular one-on-one meetings with team members and manage weekly team meetings, fostering open communication and teamwork. Utilize data dashboards to anticipate customer and team trends, making informed decisions that drive improvement and excellence. Identify opportunities to enhance team performance and efficiencies, proposing and implementing projects and process improvements that benefit the team and the company. Collaborate on projects that support the delivery of department OKRs, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives. Partner with other departments to deliver projects and process improvements, demonstrating a collaborative and solutions-focused approach. About You You have a natural inclination towards helping others and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. You bring 5+ years of experience working in a customer support team, with a proven track record of leadership and team management. You possess strong communication skills in both Japanese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms. You are comfortable with a hybrid work schedule, which includes coming into the office a few days a week, and are adaptable to the needs of a global team. You thrive in environments of ambiguity and change, demonstrating agility and a proactive approach to challenges. You enjoy solving problems, learning new skills, and are committed to your own growth and development, as well as that of your team members.
