Key Responsibilities Listen carefully to customers and evaluate their situations to provide appropriate solutions, ensuring each call is resolved efficiently and effectively. Handle a wide range of calls, from simple mapping and navigation queries to emergency situations, with a high degree of caring and empathy. Remain calm and composed under pressure, diffusing emotional and difficult calls with professionalism and poise. Multi-task to find answers while on calls with customers, utilizing available resources to resolve issues promptly. React and respond decisively in emergency situations, providing critical support to customers in need. Essential and Preferred Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Strong customer service skills, including active listening and effective communication. A caring, sympathetic, and helpful demeanor, with the ability to empathize with customers. Ability to work in a quiet, uninterrupted environment during all working hours. Fluency in English; fluency in Spanish and/or French Canadian is a significant advantage. Successful completion of a background check. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in customer support or a related field, particularly in driver assistance programs. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities, with fluency in Spanish and/or French Canadian. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high volumes of customer interactions. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits As a Customer Support Response Specialist with blithequark, you can expect: A competitive contract rate of $0.28 per customer interaction minute, with a guaranteed minimum of 45 minutes per available hour. The potential to earn an equivalent of $12.60 - $16.80 per hour, depending on your performance and client requirements. Bilingual contractors will earn a rate of $0.31 per customer interaction minute, with a 48-minute minimum guarantee, and can expect to earn an equivalent of $14.88 - $18.60 per hour. Tech Requirements To work as a Customer Support Response Specialist with blithequark, you will need: A quiet, uninterrupted environment during all working hours. A broadband internet connection, with a minimum speed of 10 MBPS. A wired internet connection for tech setups, education classes, and working hours. A Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system. Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date. A wired USB headset with a microphone (gaming headsets are not accepted). A smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad, with the ability to install an authentication app related to program work.
