As our first CS rep, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our customer support strategy and laying the groundwork for future team members. About Our Company and the Role Despite not having a dedicated CS rep until now, we've always prioritized customer support, as reflected in our app's excellent rating. We're committed to elevating our customer support to new heights. As a Customer Support Representative, you'll be an integral part of our team, helping us build a robust system and processes that will benefit our customers and the company as a whole. Your initiative and contributions will be invaluable as we continue to grow and evolve. This role offers a unique opportunity to explore various aspects of our business and potentially transition into different roles in the future. We're a small, agile team where wearing multiple hats is the norm, and we're open to creating new roles that bring value to the company. Key Responsibilities Customer Communication: Engage with customers via live chat and email to resolve their issues efficiently and effectively. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the features of our app and the broader Shopify ecosystem to provide top-notch support. Product Feedback and Improvement: Summarize merchant feedback and suggest innovative ways to enhance our product. Versatile Tasks: Participate in non-CS related tasks such as researching tools, writing blog posts, and creating mockups, based on your natural abilities and interests. Essential Qualifications and Skills Excellent Communication Skills: Superb written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers. Problem-Solving Attitude: Enjoy talking to people and solving their problems with a positive, customer-centric approach. Technical Acumen: Ability to discuss technical concepts at a high level and be comfortable working with basic CSS and JS, with a willingness to learn more if needed. Documentation and Writing: Ability and willingness to write technical documentation and articles. Flexibility: Willingness to perform non-CS related tasks and adapt to the evolving needs of our startup. Time Zone Compatibility: At least 4 hours overlap with GMT+7 (9am-6pm). Preferred Qualifications and Skills Shopify Experience: Experience working with Shopify, particularly with theme development or customization. B2B SaaS Background: Experience in B2B SaaS environments. Language Skills: Proficiency in additional languages, especially French, Spanish, and Italian.
