Job Overview As a Customer Support and Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will play a vital role in handling inbound and outbound customer service inquiries, reviewing and assessing incoming referrals, and ensuring that patient records are accurate and up-to-date. You will work closely with patients, prescribers, insurance companies, and internal partners to resolve issues, provide support, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming customer service inquiries from patients, prescribers, insurance companies, and internal partners via telephone, email, or other communication channels Research and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues as necessary Create and edit patient records in the database system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Initiate outbound telephone calls to patients, prescribers, or partners to collect additional information, provide updates, or resolve issues Attach incoming facsimile images to patient records and ensure that all interactions are documented accurately Identify and escalate concerns or issues to the relevant teams or stakeholders, ensuring that corrective action is taken Generate letters, brochures, and other materials for patients, prescribers, or partners as required Adhere to quality, production, and turnaround standards, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively Report all Adverse Events (AE) disclosed in alignment with training and Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required One or more years of experience in a highly skilled and fast-paced call center environment, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry Knowledge of medical terminology preferred, but not required Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a commitment to high standards and accountability Ability to type at least 35 words per minute and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications Experience in Specialty Pharmacy, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), Commercial Insurance, or Patient Assistance Programs Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements Experience with database management systems and electronic health records Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
