About the Role This is a full-remote, contractor position (40 hours/week) that offers the unique opportunity to work from anywhere in the world, providing 24/7 customer support to our clients. The role involves working irregular hours, including night shifts, to ensure our clients receive the support they need, whenever they need it. The selected candidate will join our team on a contractor basis, allowing for a dynamic and flexible working arrangement that balances work and personal commitments. The night shift for this role is scheduled from 15:30-24:00 CET, Tuesday through Saturday, or Sunday through Thursday, with a margin of +/- one hour to accommodate your schedule and time zone. This flexibility is designed to offer you the best possible work-life balance while ensuring our clients receive uninterrupted support. Responsibilities Assist clients with their reservations through chat, email, and the Help Center portal, ensuring high-quality service in English that meets our exceptional standards. Utilize Galileo and Amadeus systems to manage bookings, including adding ancillaries, processing refunds, and reissuing tickets, leveraging your expertise to resolve client queries efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment that values teamwork and open communication. Stay updated with industry changes and company policies to provide accurate and current information to clients, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Galileo or Amadeus, with proven recent experience (within the last 6 months) in reissuing and refunding tickets using these systems. Fluency in spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills in writing (including responding in chatbox) and speaking, enabling you to provide clear, concise support to our clients. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work collaboratively as a team player and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Essential Qualifications In addition to the requirements outlined above, the ideal candidate will possess: Proven experience in customer support, preferably in the travel industry, with a deep understanding of client needs and expectations. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues in a timely and professional manner. A strong customer-centric approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with the ability to self-motivate and work independently. Familiarity with travel management systems and software, in addition to Galileo and Amadeus. Knowledge of additional languages, which would be an asset in supporting our diverse client base.
