Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Services Specialist to join our team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. As a Customer Services Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in connecting, rearranging, maintaining, and repairing our services for our customers. This is a limited-term position that offers a competitive salary, company-provided vehicle and tools, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, paid vacation, and more. Our Customer Services Specialists earn between $10.10 - $27.44 per hour, with average starting earnings of $57,070 per year, depending on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training. Key Responsibilities Connect, repair, and rearrange cable conductors to ensure seamless service delivery to our customers Review and analyze prints, diagrams, or schematic drawings to identify and resolve technical issues Splice and waterproof coverings to maintain the integrity of our services Repair and maintain outside plant facilities, including climbing ladders and poles as required Work outdoors in all kinds of weather, ensuring that our services are always available to our customers Essential Qualifications Valid state driver’s license Non-negligent driving record Meet the 300lbs weight limit due to safety restrictions Ability to perceive differences in wire and cable colors Ability to lift and move up to 100lbs Qualify on pre-employment screening, including the Technical/Mechanical Test III (TMT III) Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, construction, or a related field Technical knowledge of cable conductors, outside plant facilities, and related equipment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures Skill and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Technical expertise in cable conductors, outside plant facilities, and related equipment Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
