Key Responsibilities Research customer inquiries using our claims processing system and other informational sources to provide accurate and timely responses. Respond to customer, group, and provider questions via telephone and written communication, utilizing proper etiquette, grammar, and punctuation. Maintain departmental records and files, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. Operate office equipment, including personal computers, calculators, copiers, and fax machines, to perform tasks efficiently. Make corrections to claims and eligibility, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies. Enter new claims, eligibility, and subscriber information into our mainframe system, adhering to established procedures and guidelines. Review subscribers' coverage to determine the type and level of benefits, providing clear and concise explanations to customers. Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least one year of customer service experience in a business environment that requires the use of computer programs to assist customers. Preferably, this experience should be in a call center or dental-related field. Additionally, you must successfully complete our customer service simulation test with a minimum score of 62 out of 100, unless you have previously passed the test or held a Customer Service Trainee, Customer Service Advisor, or Customer Service Associate position at arenaflex. Essential Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, groups, and providers in a professional and courteous manner. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to research and resolve customer inquiries efficiently. Proficiency in using computer programs, including claims processing systems and office equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities. Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and confidentiality.
