As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be part of a dynamic and supportive team that's dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our customers. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for: * Answering incoming calls from customers and providing exceptional customer service * Reviewing customer history as necessary to provide personalized support * Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy * Helping customers change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, and resolve travel issues * Processing refunds and resolving customer complaints * Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary * Documenting information and outcomes as necessary to ensure accurate record-keeping **About You** To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need: * Prior customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry or a related field * Strong geographical knowledge and the ability to navigate multiple applications * Excellent customer service skills, including strong communication and listening skills * Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment * Ability to work proactively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines * Self-directed and able to organize, prioritize, and anticipate situations * Strong typing skills and proficiency in using the internet and multiple applications * Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent support to colleagues **Requirements** To be a successful Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need: * A computer and equipment meeting the following specifications: + Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite) + Operating System: Windows 10 + Processor: Intel Core i5, 1.5 GHz and above + Memory: 8GB of RAM + Hard Drive: 256GB + Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Google Chrome + Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1920 x 1080 pixels + Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers) + Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software + Headset: USB noise-canceling headset **Work Environment** As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. You'll use a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when you don't, allowing you to schedule around your own needs, the needs of your family, and the important events in your life.
