About the Role As a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, resolving support issues, selling new products and services, and ensuring best-in-class customer experiences. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with hundreds of customers each week, and be expected to be confident, fully engaged, and dedicated to bringing a positive and enthusiastic outlook to work each day. Key Responsibilities Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Recognize sales opportunities and apply sales skills to upgrade customers to new products and services Explain and position products and processes with customers, providing clear and concise information Appropriately escalate customer dissatisfaction to the managerial team, ensuring prompt resolution Ensure first-call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling, meeting or exceeding performance metrics Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute) Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Basic understanding of Windows operating system Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation A customer service-oriented mindset (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious) The ability to multitask, stay focused, and self-manage in a fast-paced environment Strong team orientation and customer focus Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: Previous customer service experience in a contact center environment Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues What We Offer At blithequark, we believe in rewarding our employees for their hard work and dedication.
