Job Summary As a TSA Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and supporting customers with TSA Precheck enrollment and other services. You'll work in a collaborative and inclusive environment, helping customers realize an easier flying experience and initiating background checks and other services for various federal or state programs. During the 8-10 week onboarding period, you'll also be cross-trained to support other areas of the store. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers with TSA Precheck enrollment and other services Greet all customers and provide a professional and welcoming experience Engage and present products and solutions that drive sales with customers' needs in mind Verify customer identity, scan required documents into database system, take passport photos Complete customer fingerprint images, biometric and data capture processes, and paperwork Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot issues with fingerprinting and retail equipment Lead government or TSA-related consumer sales for identity-related products and services Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned in the store Essential Qualifications and Experience 18 years of age or older and must be a U.S. citizen Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to operate a keyboard, photocopier, and other office equipment Customer service-related experience Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in retail or customer service Knowledge of TSA Precheck or other government programs Experience with biometric and data capture processes Skills and Competencies Required for Success Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Staples, we're committed to helping our associates grow and develop their careers.
