About the Role As a Customer Service Representative (Student Loan Advisor) at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch support to our customers, answering their questions, and resolving any issues they may encounter. You will be the face of our company, and your excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will be essential in delivering a positive and professional experience to our customers. This is an in-center position with the possibility of working from home after 90 days, provided you meet the required performance, attendance, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Respond to incoming calls, chats, and outbound calls to assist customers with their queries, provide detailed information, and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. Utilize standard technology, such as telephones, email, and web browsers, to navigate through our systems and provide support to customers. Follow established policies, procedures, and scripts to ensure consistency and accuracy in your responses. Assist customers with filling out applications and submitting them electronically for processing. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including call logs, documentation, and related call details. Work effectively within established key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to ensure exceptional customer service and productivity. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently. Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute (WPM). Experience working with personal computers and the Windows operating system. Strong computer skills, with proficiencies in Excel and Word. Excellent command of the English language, with effective use of grammar skills. Excellent communication etiquette and customer service skills, with the ability to personalize calls, be competent and patient, and take initiative in offering solutions and assistance. Preferred Skills: Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to multi-task and stay organized while completing simultaneous tasks. Experience working in a contact center environment, with knowledge of contact center technology. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
