As a key member of our team, you'll provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits * Translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system * Communicating and collecting copay amounts * Obtaining authorizations from insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams * Resolving and deferring orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide exceptional customer service to patients and internal partners via telephone * Process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits * Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system * Communicate and collect copay amounts from patients * Obtain authorizations from insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams * Resolve and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of specialty medications * Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and order processing **Essential Qualifications:** * One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications * One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude * Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **Skills and Competencies:** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and email applications * Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we're committed to investing in our employees' growth and development.
