This includes verifying and re-verifying benefits, assisting patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system, collecting and processing copay amounts, obtaining approvals, and collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and approve orders with records of sales or clinical issues. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide phone support to patients receiving life-saving specialty medication treatment * Coordinate and handle new prescription drug orders and reorders, including verifying and re-verifying benefits * Assist patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system * Collect and process copay amounts * Obtain approvals from insurance companies and healthcare providers * Collaborate with internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and approve orders with records of sales or clinical issues * Provide empathetic and genuine care to patients and clients in a high-speed environment **Required Qualifications** * Dynamic IL Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License * One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications such as Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and fitness **Preferred Qualifications** * Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a high-speed environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
