You'll be responsible for handling phone calls from patients who are seeking life-saving specialty medication, and you'll work closely with our team to coordinate and process their requests. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Coordinating and handling new prescription requests and reorders, including verifying and updating patient benefits * Assisting patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system * Collecting and processing copay payments, obtaining approvals, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders that have been flagged for sales or clinical issues * Collaborating with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners to ensure that specialty medications are delivered on time and that financial and clinical expectations are met **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills: * A dynamic IL Pharmacy Technician License or the ability to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License * One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via phone * One year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and proficiency **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: * Healthcare experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment and a proven track record of providing empathetic and genuine care to patients and customers **Work Environment and Culture** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a work environment that's inclusive, supportive, and empowering.
