Job Overview In this seasonal role, you will be responsible for handling routine and basic inbound and outbound calls, emails, web chats, and back-office services. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer satisfaction while adhering to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). As a vital member of our Customer Service department, you will complete daily tasks and responsibilities to support our programs and ensure the highest level of service. Key Responsibilities Support customers in submitting and processing origination and disbursement transactions, creating and submitting on their behalf when necessary Assist customers with award origination and disbursement processing, identifying and resolving processing issues in a timely and efficient manner Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, web chats, and outreach to customers to resolve batch edits and errors, missing documents, and signature pages, as well as fix data issues Provide monitoring support and outreach for batch processing issues and errors, edit code rejects, and issue follow-up and resolution as requested Log cases and update existing cases to record each phone, email, or web chat communication with customers, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation Perform manual linking and unlinking of award records and promissory/agreement to serve notes, maintaining data integrity and accuracy Analyze COD borrower data integrity situations identified by customers, providing support and resolution as needed Research and confirm COD processing status of data, including promissory notes, batch status, entrance counseling, exit counseling, borrower, grant recipient, and borrower-servicer information Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or GED 0-2 years of call center experience, with a focus on customer service or public relations Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service Strong knowledge of customer service principles, practices, and techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey enthusiasm, energy, and sincerity over the phone Excellent listening skills, with the ability to interpret and clarify information provided by customers A strong commitment to providing quality service, with a focus on resolving customer concerns and issues Keen attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work well under pressure A strong ability to foster good working relationships and rapport with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
