Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your key priorities will include: Providing customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer feels valued and supported throughout their shopping experience. Assisting in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor. Independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are accurately priced and displayed. Accurately handling customer funds and processing transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Remaining constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, reporting any concerns or incidents to management as needed. Performing all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including participating in visual merchandising, maintaining store displays, and supporting store events and promotions. Position Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent. Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments. Previous experience in customer service or sales is an asset. Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to adapt to changing store schedules and priorities.
