As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in handling customer inquiries and resolving issues via telephone, internet, or written correspondence. Your exceptional communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will enable you to deliver exceptional support and solutions to our clients. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming calls from members and providers regarding claims status, benefits, and eligibility, PPO participation, and other related topics Maintain department-established performance metrics at a meets or exceeds expectations level Work collaboratively as a team and apply the blithequark Core Values in day-to-day operations, including creating a differentiated service experience, demonstrating service discipline, handling service challenges, providing solutions to constituent needs, and working across boundaries Utilize your knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, and call center operations to provide accurate and helpful information to clients Stay up-to-date with industry developments, company policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in your responses Essential Qualifications High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Preferred Qualifications Call center experience, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance concepts Experience working in a production environment, with a focus on meeting performance metrics and delivering results Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer software and systems Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
