You'll work closely with our customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work under pressure will make you an invaluable asset to our team. **Key responsibilities** * Complete daily tasks related to check processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers * Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and answer questions * Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing * Work on member cases and sports assigned * Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws * Process mortgage payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other transactions, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff transactions * Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products * Log, review, and make necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns * Process Stop Pays and Check Batching * Complete daily balancing and department closing * Obtain information from customers for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests * Research and verify incoming and outgoing budget transfer information * Communicate with vendors to process budget transfers * Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws * Deposit check returns, review member draft changes, process member checks, verify customers for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers * Complete daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees **Essential and preferred qualifications** * High school degree or GED * Intermediate Excel and Word experience * Previous customer/member service experience * Previous banking or Credit Union experience * Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience * Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software * Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs * Ability to work extremely well under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities * Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills * Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure * Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department * Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and customers * Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision * Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits * Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance * Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams **Skills and competencies required for success** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills * Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure * Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform calculations * Ability to work well under pressure and handle stress * Strong ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes * Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance **Career growth opportunities and learning benefits** As an experienced customer service representative at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
