About the Role In this full-time, remote position, you'll have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home in Maine, engaging with customers who are passionate about their pets. As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the voice of our company, providing top-notch support and solutions to our customers' needs. We're not looking for script-readers or order-takers; we're searching for individuals who can think critically, problem-solve, and genuinely care about our customers' experiences. Key Responsibilities Engage directly with customers via phone, email, or chat to address a variety of topics, from shopping for new pets to finding the perfect toy or resolving issues. Research and problem-solve to determine appropriate solutions for customers, thinking proactively and setting follow-ups as needed to ensure contact resolution. Operate with empathy, kindness, and active listening skills to provide exceptional customer experiences and build strong relationships with our customers and team members. Collaborate with teammates, managers, and other stakeholders using virtual tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to a customer-centric culture of collaboration and innovation. Demonstrate a willingness to learn, grow, and adapt to changing business needs, with a focus on continuous improvement and excellence. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: At least 2 years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support and solutions. Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities, with fluency in both Canadian French (Quebecois) and English. Ability to multi-task, navigate computer systems, and perform well in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management. Must be able to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable: Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively. Familiarity with customer service software, CRM systems, and other technologies used in our industry. Knowledge of the pet industry, with a passion for animals and a desire to learn and grow with our company. Experience with conflict resolution, negotiation, and de-escalation techniques, with a focus on providing exceptional customer experiences. Technical Requirements To work remotely with arenaflex, you'll need: A dedicated workspace that's free from distractions, with a reliable wired, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/ 10Mbps+ upload speed). A computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam, which will be provided by arenaflex.
