Job Overview This exciting opportunity is part of the Payments and Digital Strategy team at arenaflex Credit Union. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for a range of tasks related to payment processing, account management, and customer support. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional service to our customers, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities Complete data entry and balancing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail Coordinate return items with customers, vendors, and financial institutions Assist other departments with fraud resolution, customer inquiries, and accounting-related tasks Work on customer cases and issues assigned to you, ensuring timely and effective resolution Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards Process loan payments, account deposits, credit card payments, and other transactions with precision and care Review, verify, and approve remote deposit, mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products Log, report, and make necessary general ledger (GL) account changes and/or returns Process stop payments and check batching with efficiency and accuracy Complete daily balancing and department closing tasks with attention to detail Obtain information from customers for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer details with precision and care Communicate with vendors to process fund transfers efficiently and effectively Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws and regulations Deposit check returns, research member bank drafts, process member checks, and verify customer information for outgoing fund transfers Complete daily processing of workflows related to late returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or GED Intermediate Excel and Word skills Previous customer service experience (preferred) Previous banking or credit union experience (preferred) Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience (preferred) Skills and Competencies The ideal candidate will possess: Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional results Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities with ease Strong mathematical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize work effectively, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks with ease Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within the department Ability to engage professionally with all employees and customers Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Strong self-motivation and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering exceptional results Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
