Feel free to balance your personal and professional life and jump right in! Why You'll Love This Role This position is part of the Payment and Digital Processing team at blithequark Credit Union. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling various tasks related to research processing, item handling, wire transfers, and account reconciliations. You'll be the go-to person for resolving customer issues, working with internal stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily research and reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency Coordinate return items with merchants, gateways, the Federal Reserve, and other financial institutions Assist various departments with fraud resolution, partial payments, and related accounting standard adjustments Work part-time cases/sports assigned Monitor and maintain compliance with NACHA guidelines, rules, and Federal Banking regulations Process contract bills, multi-part and partial deposits, credit card bills, and various exceptions, including IRA, bankruptcy, and deceased cases Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products Log, research, and make necessary GL, account changes, or returns Process Stop Pays and Check Batching Complete daily reconciliations and departmental closing tasks Obtain information from beneficiaries for the accurate and timely processing of international and domestic wire transfer requests Research and verify incoming and outgoing wire transfer information Communicate with merchants to resolve wire transfer issues Understand and stay up-to-date on incoming and outgoing wire transfer regulations Research returns, review partial re-deposit items on draft changes, process partial re-deposits, verify beneficiaries for outgoing wire transfers, and Federal Reserve confirmation and release wire transfers Complete daily processing of workflows related to past due returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and court orders What You'll Need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through work experience or training Preferred Qualifications: Previous customer/biller experience Previous banking or Credit Union experience Episys/Symitar and wire processing experience Skills and Competencies: Excellent customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as a key part of a team Strong numerical and analytical skills Ability to focus on work and meet deadlines under intense volume pressure Capacity to cross-train and perform any task assigned within the department Professional communication skills with all staff and donors Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Self-motivation with strong work ethic and attention to detail What You'll Get At blithequark, you'll have access to a range of benefits and perks that will enhance your personal and professional life.
