**Experienced Customer Service Representative – Remote in Oregon**

Our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our members, and your role will be critical in delivering a positive experience that sets the tone for our relationship with them. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same, and you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a variety of areas. **Key Responsibilities** * Answer incoming phone calls from health care providers (i.e. physician offices, clinics) and identify the type of assistance the provider needs (e.g. benefit and eligibility, billing and payments, authorizations for treatment, explanation of benefits) * Focus on resolving issues on the first call, navigating through complex computer systems to identify the status of the issue and provide appropriate response to caller * Deliver information and answer questions in a positive manner to facilitate strong relationships with providers and their staff * Complete the documentation necessary to track provider issues and facilitate the reporting of overall trends * Develop knowledge of insurance packages and stay up-to-date on changes to policies and procedures * Work collaboratively with other teams to resolve complex issues and improve processes **Telecommuting Requirements** * Reside within the state of Oregon * Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) * Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy * Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience * Must be 18 years of age OR older * 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting * Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications * Experience with listening skillfully, collecting relevant information, building rapport and responding to customers in a compassionate manner * Experience with problem solving to quickly assess current state and formulate recommendations * Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need **Preferred Qualifications** * 1 year of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) in a medical setting using phones and computers as the primary job tools * 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center environment **Benefits and Perks** * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) plan with company match * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunities for career growth and development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **Work Environment and Culture** * arenaflex is a global organization with a diverse and inclusive culture * We value diversity and strive to create a workplace that is welcoming and inclusive for all employees * Our culture is guided by a set of core values that include compassion, integrity, and excellence * We're committed to making a positive impact on the communities we serve and to advancing health equity on a global scale **Compensation and Perks** * Competitive salary and bonus structure * Comprehensive benefits package * Opportunities for career growth and development * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **How to Apply** If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
