As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being an integral part of our dynamic team. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: * Receiving and processing customer orders by telephone or fax, ensuring all customer requests are handled in a prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional manner. * Processing all customer orders in accordance with established company standards and procedures. * Providing exceptional customer service, listening to customers' needs, and resolving routine and complex problems in a timely and professional manner. * Documenting activity to our system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. * Displaying active listening and superior customer service skills for both external and internal customers. * Cross-training in other positions within the department, as needed, and performing these functions when required. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Be able to handle an average of 11 calls per hour per eight (8) hour shift after 4 months in the position, including inbound calls. * Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customers. * Solve routine and complex problems, contacting a supervisor immediately for problems unable to solve. * Answer incoming customer service orders as soon as possible. * Display active listening and superior customer service skills for both external and internal customers. * Document activity to our system. * Display the ability to enter orders manually via our fax process. * Display the ability to operate the phone system effectively. * Adhere to work schedule. * Perform other duties as assigned. **Qualifications Required** * Ability to work independently and as a team. * Must demonstrate the ability to perform the different tasks they have been trained for in the call center, with a focus on retaining knowledge for cross-training purposes. * Computer knowledge. * Strong customer service skills. * Solid communication skills (including verbal, written, and listening skills). * Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Good organizational skills. * Ability to execute and prioritize multiple tasks. * Professional demeanor. * Ability to type 35-40 words per minute. * Flexible and adaptable to change. * Medical terminology/experience preferred but not required. * A minimum of a High school Diploma or equivalent required. * Must have high-speed internet for remote work. **Benefits** blithequark offers a competitive wage and robust benefit package to full-time employees, including: * Two weeks of vacation time. * Health Insurance after 30 days. * Sick time. * 6 paid holidays. * Medical insurance allowance, giving you the freedom to customize your plan to fit your needs. * Dental insurance. * Vision insurance. * Disability insurance. * Company-paid life insurance. * 401(k). **Why Join blithequark?** At blithequark, we value our employees and offer a range of benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
