As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in delivering this experience, working with customers to resolve their queries, and providing them with the information and support they need to make informed decisions about their travel plans. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide courteous, efficient, and expert customer service to customers via phone, email, or chat * Promote and sell air travel to customers, including flights, packages, and other travel-related products * Assist customers with passenger check-in, load acceptance, and other travel-related tasks * Interpret and communicate airline policies, procedures, and regulations to customers * Meet and dispatch planes within set-up times, ensuring smooth and efficient operations * Provide support to customers experiencing issues or difficulties with their travel plans * Protect company assets and revenue by adhering to security protocols and procedures * Possess the physical ability and dexterity to perform various job-related tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods * Use organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities within a limited timeframe * Work independently with minimal supervision, responding to and assisting with safety and emergency situations as needed * Follow internal and external regulations and procedures to ensure compliance and quality service * May be required to drive and operate air stairs to board and deplane passengers * Responsible for the overall performance of the work location, including leading and directing the work of other team members * May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control duties, including air-to-ground communication and Tower operations **What You'll Need for Success:** * Minimum Qualifications: + High school degree or GED + Fluency in English language (written, verbal, and reading) + Bilingual language skills may be required in some locations + Valid driver's license as required by local authorities + Must satisfy FAA background checks to qualify for unescorted access to airport security identity display areas (SIDA), if applicable + Must be able to obtain suitable airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable + Ability to work abnormal and/or prolonged hours, including weekends and holidays + Must be able to work on a regular and timely basis * Preferred Qualifications: + Previous customer service experience in a call center or travel industry setting + Familiarity with airline policies, procedures, and regulations + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **What You'll Get:** * Competitive hourly rate of $20/hour * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Comprehensive benefits package, including: + Travel perks: enjoy access to over 6,800 daily flights across our global network + Health benefits: access to health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits on day one + Wellness programs: support for your physical and mental well-being + 401(k) program: available upon hire, with company contributions after one year + Additional benefits: Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, cars, cruises, and more **Join the arenaflex Family:** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment that values and celebrates individual differences.
