Job Summary The Customer Service Representative at arenaflex plays a vital role in interacting with customers to provide timely and accurate information in response to inquiries about products and services, as well as handling and resolving complaints in a professional and courteous manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships by addressing questions and concerns with speed and professionalism, ensuring that customers receive an exceptional experience that reflects the company's values and commitment to excellence. Essential Functions Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about products and services, leveraging knowledge of arenaflex's product portfolio and industry trends to provide personalized support. Receive and place customer service telephone calls, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner. Open customer accounts in Oracle, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records, and maintain customer records, updating as required to reflect changes in customer information or preferences. Enter orders from customers in assigned territory, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless order fulfillment. Recommend potential products or services to the manager by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs, identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell arenaflex's products and services. Interface with accounting, manufacturing planners, shipping, sales team, and customers to resolve issues associated with open/closed orders and posted lead times, ensuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded. Clarify customer complaints and maintain records on a shared drive, following up with engineering and QC team to ensure correction and resolution to issued complaints, and implement process improvements to prevent similar issues from arising in the future. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as required, participating in special projects and initiatives that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Complete other job-related duties and special projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Knowledge and Skills The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of Oracle Software, with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Additionally, the ability to understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ISO sections relevant to the position is essential. The successful candidate will also demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates should have customer service experience in a manufacturing environment, with a college degree preferred. The successful candidate will possess excellent product knowledge, market/industry knowledge, documentation skills, phone skills, and analytical skills, with a focus on quality, organization, and problem-solving. Physical Demands and Working Conditions The physical demands and working conditions of this role include sitting, standing, and walking (up to continuously), with frequent use of computer and telephone requiring finger, hand, and arm movement. Candidates should be able to occasionally carry office supplies and other miscellaneous items up to 30/50 pounds, with continuous use of seeing, hearing, and verbal communication. The working conditions are typical of an office setting, with frequent exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.
