As a key member of our customer-facing team, the Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in ensuring seamless communication and effective issue resolution for our valued customers. This position serves as the primary interface between our Business Unit and assigned customers, directing and coordinating projects to meet their needs and exceed their expectations. Key Responsibilities In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities designed to provide superior customer service and support. Some of the key responsibilities include: Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, addressing their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Coordinating project personnel and resources to ensure successful project execution and completion. Preparing and submitting interim and completion program schedules, status reports, and budget reports to stakeholders. Providing effective customer service, understanding customer needs, and making recommendations to improve customer satisfaction and scorecard ratings. Monitoring projects for changes in scope, identifying cost and schedule impacts, and working with the Contracts Manager to negotiate equitable adjustments to contracts. Collaborating with internal organizations, including Contracts & Customer Service Director, to service and manage order processing, entry, and resolution of issues. Interacting with outside Sales personnel to ensure awareness of and alignment with blithequark goals and customer needs. Preparing, reviewing, and submitting quotes to customers as required, and providing timely resolution on customer inquiries, order tracking, and other related issues. Supporting Lean process improvement initiatives, including standard work development and maintenance, and participating in associated projects. Scheduling and managing cross-functional meetings for customer issue resolution, and making recommendations to Management on customer opportunities and issues. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: At least 5-7 years of related experience in customer service, contract administration, or a similar field. Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion. Experience in Customer Purchase Order Review/Entry and Fulfillment, as well as contract review, administration, and flow down. A strong customer-facing support background, with experience in the day-to-day management of a defined customer account base. Proven team player with the ability to effectively relate to all levels of the organization, and a self-directed approach to work. Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience in the review and interpretation of Customer Purchase Orders, RFQs, and other requirements flowed through customer contract documents. Strong background in contract review, administration, and flow down, with the ability to negotiate equitable adjustments to contracts. Knowledge of Lean process improvement principles and experience with standard work development and maintenance. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
