Job Summary The Customer Service Representative role at arenaflex is a unique opportunity to interact directly with patients, influencing generic utilization, therapy changes, and providing education to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for communicating the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapies to patients, with the goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients. You will work closely with our Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, ensuring that our patients receive personalized care and attention. Key Responsibilities Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapies to patients, with the goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications Provide education and support to patients, ensuring that they understand their treatment options and are empowered to make informed decisions about their care Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gaining patient and order information Work independently and as part of a team to resolve patient issues and concerns, escalating complex issues to a pharmacist as needed Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, health care, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education Conduct routine assessments and problem identification, escalating issues to a pharmacist as needed Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications 1 year of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone 6 months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required Must reside in the state of Nevada Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a health care or pharmacy setting Knowledge of insurance, health care, and reimbursement-related requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Technical Skills Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application Ability to learn and navigate new software systems Strong data entry and typing skills Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Empathy and compassion for patients and customers Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, with a pay range of $17.00 - $28.45 per hour. We also offer a complete PTO package, with 10 paid company holidays and a variety of other time-off options. Our team members are eligible for a bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program, in addition to our base pay range.
