Job Summary The Customer Service Representative role at blithequark is a unique opportunity to interact directly with patients, influencing generic utilization, therapy changes, and providing education and support to ensure the best possible health outcomes. Your primary focus will be on communicating the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with the goal of providing overall savings and improving health outcomes. Key Responsibilities Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with the goal of providing overall savings and improving health outcomes Conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, working closely with the patient and the Specialty Projects Team Provide adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies Effectively handle incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gaining patient and order information Provide customer education, routine assessment, and problem identification, with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, health care, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and other relevant topics Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 1 year of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone 6 months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required Must reside in the state of Nevada Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a health care or pharmacy setting Knowledge of insurance, health care, and reimbursement-related requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
