Experienced Customer Service Representative – Part-Time Remote Position for Walgreens Customer Service Team

Job Summary The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for handling patient and customer inquiries, processing new patient enrollment, and entering information into our pharmacy systems. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Utilize Walgreens solution information section methodology and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system. Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate to obtain missing prescription data, and decipher clinical shortenings (SIG codes). Settle all information section-related special cases. Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary. Settle outsider oddballs by assessing, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement necessities. Make phone calls to support plans and others to obtain data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise settle the outsider oddballs. Provide assistance to pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations. Identify and convey issues to senior-level staff as necessary. Acquire a dynamic specialist permit or affirmation within the initial 90 days and maintain a current professional permit or affirmation. Essential Capabilities Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and close down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print reports, or access data online). Essential web search tools skills to include opening a program, composing in URLs in the right area, using a web search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Moderate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing reports). Communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Preferred Capabilities At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment. No less than one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy expert with a license/enrollment by state as conceded by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency. Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction. Moderate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing reports). Familiarity with Spanish and English.
