As a customer service representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring that their travel experience is smooth and enjoyable. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to blithequark customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner Utilize computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets, as well as manage the check-in process and ensure that customers have the necessary documentation for travel Label and handle luggage, performing lifting tasks that involve moving luggage from scales to conveyor belts, and handling items as low as floor level and as high as waist level Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational cycles and procedures, ensuring the well-being of ourselves and others Work collaboratively with other teams, including the gate and ramp teams, to ensure that customers receive seamless service throughout their travel experience Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Ability to consistently lift bags or items weighing up to 80 pounds Authorization to live and work in the country of application Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to use appropriate language, tone, and elocution Ability to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Fluency in English, both written and spoken Current possession of a valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the aviation industry Knowledge of airline operations, including ticketing, check-in, and baggage handling procedures Ability to speak multiple languages, with a focus on languages commonly spoken by blithequark customers Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
