As a remote customer service representative, you'll be part of a talented team that's passionate about making a difference in the lives of our customers. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Responding to customer inquiries received via phone, email, and fax, documenting interactions in Salesforce * Providing expert recommendations on standard product (VBS) solutions, pricing, and information-related complaints * Proactively interacting with customers, technical service, sales, distribution centers, manufacturing, purchasing, and credit teams to ensure quick responses and resolve issues efficiently * Maintaining and growing business at existing and new arenaflex accounts through proactive engagement and relationship-building * Recommending, quoting, sampling, and selling VBS products to meet customer needs * Documenting opportunities where VBS products don't meet customer requirements and transferring customers to the arenaflex technical community for further discussion * Processing orders from receipt to delivery and invoicing, verifying accuracy against documented procedures * Entering new orders, verifying for accuracy, and processing order changes and cancellations * Recommending alternative product constructions if required * Monitoring open work orders and expediting as needed * Notifying customers of late or problem orders and providing VBS product alternatives to assist customers * Resolving customer-specific freight and logistics issues through consultation with arenaflex Shipping Departments * Utilizing the E-price tool to support customer inquiries, including VBS product recommendations, price quotes, price discounting, application sheets, product sampling, and trial orders * Resolving information-related customer complaints and implementing corrective action, confirming resolution and corrective action with customers via established arenaflex guidelines * Handling complaints for pricing mistakes, order entry errors, and customer accommodations * Proactively engaging assigned accounts through phone and/or email contact to understand business applications and uncover missed opportunities * Assisting with order entry overflow for repeat orders and standard price quotations overflow * Entering new customer information and contributing to Customer Service Improvement Teams as required **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience * 1-3 years of previous customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment * Experience using an ERP system is highly preferred * Excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to learn quickly * Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and collaborative team spirit * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and experience using Salesforce.com is a plus **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a remote environment * Familiarity with the Pacific Time Zone hours and Western US Region Territory * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote customer service representative, you'll enjoy a flexible and dynamic work environment that allows you to work from the comfort of your own home. arenaflex is committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
