Job Overview We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team. Key Responsibilities Address and resolve customer service calls empathetically and professionally, providing accurate and personalized help and guidance to our members and providers. Document, research, and resolve all inquiries, ensuring that documentation is clear and complete, and that issues are resolved on the first call whenever possible. Respond to calls from our members, answering questions and resolving issues regarding health care eligibility, claims, and payments, and providing support and guidance as needed. Review, research, and process healthcare claims, ensuring that every claim receives a fair and thorough review, and that our members receive the benefits they're entitled to. Collaborate with care providers, field Care Team staff, and other stakeholders to resolve complex issues and ensure that our members receive the best possible care. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of claims policies, regulatory requirements, and guidelines, and utilize all available resources to handle inquiries and resolve issues. Meet or exceed individual and departmental quality standards, achieving performance goals and contributing to the success of our team. Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: A High School Diploma or GED, or 10+ years of equivalent working experience. 2+ years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and resolving complex issues. The ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute, and to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 8:00pm CST, with the ability to work occasional overtime as needed. The ability to successfully complete our Customer Service training classes, and to demonstrate proficiency in the material. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: 1+ years of prior experience in an automatic call distribution call center setting. Knowledge of CPT/ICD10 coding, and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines. Telecommuting Requirements To be eligible for this role, you'll need to meet the following telecommuting requirements: The ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure, and to maintain the confidentiality of our members' personal and medical information. A dedicated work area that is separated from other living areas, and that provides information privacy. A reliable high-speed internet connection, and the ability to leverage an existing high-speed internet service if needed.
